Your availability settings tell assigners when you are free to officiate. There are two parts: your weekly schedule (recurring days and times) and blocked dates (specific days you are unavailable).

Weekly schedule

The weekly schedule lets you mark which days of the week you are available and during what hours.

Setting your available days and times

  1. Navigate to your availability settings.
  2. You will see a row for each day of the week, Monday through Sunday.
  3. Check the box next to a day to mark it as available. Uncheck it to mark the entire day as unavailable.
  4. For each available day, set your start time and end time using the dropdown menus. Times are available in 30-minute increments (for example, 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM).
  5. Save your changes.

Days you have not checked show "Not available" and are grayed out.

tipSet your availability to match the times you can realistically travel to and officiate games, not just when you are free at home. Factor in travel time to venues.

Example

If you are available weekday evenings and all day on weekends, you might set:

  • Monday through Friday: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Blocked dates

Blocked dates let you mark specific days when you are not available, even if that day falls within your regular weekly schedule. Use blocked dates for vacations, holidays, personal events, or any other day you cannot officiate.

Adding a blocked date

  1. In the Blocked Dates section, select Add Date.
  2. In the dialog that appears, pick a date. You can only block dates in the future (tomorrow or later).
  3. Optionally, enter a reason (for example, "Vacation" or "Family event"). This is visible to assigners and helps them understand your absence.
  4. If you belong to more than one organization, you can choose which organizations the blocked date applies to. Leave all unchecked to block the date for all your organizations, or check specific ones to block only those.
  5. Select Add Date to save.

Viewing your blocked dates

Your blocked dates are listed in chronological order. Each entry shows:

  • The date (for example, "Sat, Jun 14, 2026")
  • Your reason, if you provided one
  • Which organizations it applies to (if you belong to more than one)

Future dates appear prominently. Past dates are collapsed under a "N past dates" toggle to keep the list tidy.

Removing a blocked date

To remove a blocked date, select the trash icon next to it. The date is removed immediately, making you available for that day again.

tipReview your blocked dates periodically and remove any that are no longer needed. Stale blocked dates might cause assigners to skip you for games you could actually work.

How availability affects assignments

Your weekly schedule and blocked dates work together:

  • Assigners see your availability when deciding who to assign to a game. Keeping it accurate reduces back-and-forth.
  • Available games you see may be filtered based on your availability settings, so an up-to-date schedule helps you find the right games faster.
  • Blocked dates take priority over your weekly schedule. If you are normally available on Saturdays but block a specific Saturday, that date is treated as unavailable.
